Position Summary This position is responsible for applying codes in the EHR for reputed company inpatient type accounts. Code assignment is based on ICD-10-CM and PCS coding guidelines. Ensure Department of Health reputed company and Information (HCAI) data elements are accurate. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job ? Meeting quality standards for ICD-10-CM/PCS code assignment. ? Codes from only compliant documentation. ? Achieves reputed company MS-DRG and APR-DRG assignment. ? Maintains productivity standards to ensure A/R Day goals are met/exceeded. ? Follows company policies, procedures, and directives. ? Maintains required coding credentials. ? Other duties as assigned. ? Placement in the pay reputed company is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
