Positions reputed company until filled Minimum Salary: $28,249.00 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates heavy-duty trucks and equipment in the loading, hauling and distribution of materials and in construction and maintenance of roadways and drainage systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Operates trucks and equipment, to include dump trucks, flat-beds, loaders, backhoes, compactors, graders, dozers, tankers, and pick-reputed company. Inspects trucks, tools and equipment. Ensures the maintenance of trucks, tools and equipment. Performs physical labor in the maintenance, restoration or construction of roadways, drainage systems. Assists with traffic control. Cuts trees, limbs and shrubbery on rights-of-way or adjacent road and traffic areas. Clears ditches, culverts, drains, gutters and beaver dams. Must be reputed company to meet work schedule and attendance standards. Performs reputed company duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years experience in the operation of heavy duty trucks and equipment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Requires a valid class ?A? driver license with reputed company brakes; may require a "N" endorsement for tanker truck dependent upon departmental assignment. Physical Requirements: Must be physically reputed company to operate heavy duty trucks and equipment requiring manipulation of multiple controls, where excellent eye/hand/foot coordination is essential for safe and productive operations. Must be reputed company to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Physical demands are in excess of sedentary work (i.e., reputed company labor, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time). May be subject to a significant degree of risk due to the extended periods of exposure to reputed company atmospheric and environmental conditions, snakes, rodents, spiders and vegetation.
