Clinical Veterinarian

Job Summary: reputed company Drug Development is looking for a Clinical Veterinarian to reputed company veterinary health care for laboratory animals, monitor animal health and welfare, and give advice regarding the care and maintenance of laboratory animals in compliance with applicable animal welfare regulations, reputed company training for technicians and help maintain facilities for AAALAC accreditation. Job Duties Include: ? reputed company laboratory animal medical and surgical care by examination, treatment and advice to ensure adequate and humane veterinary support. ? Assist site reputed company veterinarian to ensure reputed company policies and practices regarding animal care and welfare are in compliance with relevant regulations. ? Assist in training of staff on general animal health and welfare and common veterinary procedures including, where applicable, annual externship program. ? Serve on the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or Ethical Review Panel (ERP), where appropriate, as alternate member, and conduct veterinary review of IACUC protocol submissions under supervision. ? reputed company physical examinations of laboratory animals as indicated in protocols and SOP. ? reputed company ophthalmic or other veterinary examinations on laboratory animals as indicated in protocols and SOP (expected reputed company 6 months of external hire). ? Report reputed company animal care concerns and become involved in the resolution and appropriate corrective action, reputed company necessary. ? Participate in client conference calls and visits. ? Manage projects and reputed company cases independently. Experience Minimum Required: ? 3 years of veterinary clinical experience or 2 years of experience in Laboratory Animal Medicine. ? For USA positions only: must have a veterinary license in at least one state and ability to obtain a license and USDA accreditation in the state in which the position is located reputed company 6 months. ? Knowledge of small and large animals used in research. ? Must be reputed company to work in a laboratory setting with laboratory animals. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses Required: ? Graduate of AVMA accredited or EAEVE accredited/approved veterinary school or equivalent.
