OVERALL JOB PURPOSE As a Caregiver, you embody our principle of Person-Centered care and support our mission statement through People, Passion, and reputed company by providing the highest standard of care and customer service. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS ? High school diploma or equivalent is required ? Six months of reputed company experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience ? Appropriate certification, as required by state ? reputed company and valid first aid and CPR certification ? Demonstrated ability to communicate politely and effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing, with residents and staff ? Meet state reputed company requirements (if applicable to position) ? Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player ? Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residents ? Possess excellent customer and organizational skills ? Ability to work under time constraints with little supervision and meet department deadlines. ? Previous experience in senior living, preferred ? Satisfactorily pass Sunshine?s and state regulated criminal record clearance, health screening and TB clearance (if applicable) ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? reputed company residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider?s orders CaregiverRev.09.2021 Page 2 ? Encourage and/or remind residents to participate in activities. Promote activities to enthusiastically to pique residents? interest ? Immediately respond to reputed company emergencies; reputed company first aid assistance; debrief and document incident following company procedures ? Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor ? Monitor health, safety, and well-being of the residents. Promptly report any changes in reputed company?s physical condition and/or behavior to Health Services Director ? Accurately maintain reputed company records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations ? Properly store medications and equipment and keeps the medication room clean and orderly. Ensures prescription label and storage procedures meet state standard ? Properly follow shift-change procedures and documentation ? Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating ?
