Associate Elementary Teacher

The Elisabeth Morrow School, a leader in education from early childhood through middle school, seeks to fill one Associate Teacher Position in the second grade for the 2025-2026 school year. The hours of work are 7:30 a.m.? 4:45 p.m. Monday (afternoons are for professional development and faculty meetings) and 7:30 a.m.?3:30 p.m. Tuesday?Friday. Day-to-Day Responsibilities ? Help plan, execute, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences in harmony with the school?s philosophy and mission. ? Essential Qualifications

While previous classroom teaching experience is not required, a commitment to elementary education, the whole child experience, and on-the-job learning is essential. ? One or two semesters of student teaching experience in either independent, charter, or public schools. We will strongly consider a mid-career changer who may not have classroom experience but has a great deal of life experience to contribute. ? Completed or currently enrolled in a degree program in education (preferred, not required). ? Passionate about working with children. ? Mature and responsible attitude towards work. ?
