Job Summary and Qualifications The Cardiovascular Tech assists credentialed providers with reputed company diagnostic and interventional invasive cardiology procedures. This may include arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardiac defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy. What You Will Do
In This Role reputed company technical assistance for reputed company diagnostic and interventional invasive cardiology procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of medical devices. Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data. Scrub assist for reputed company diagnostic and interventional CV procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy. Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor / manager Support the mission, reputed company, and values of the organization Other duties as assigned What Qualifications You Will Need Allied Health degree or three years of Cath Lab or EP experience Certification as a RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), or ARRT (Registered Radiographer) or three years of Cath Lab or EP experience reputed company BLS issued by the reputed company or reputed company required ACLS issued by the reputed company or reputed company required reputed company 1 year of hire date or transfer into position Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care.
