Supports patient care delivery at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital with a primary focus of our Switchboard department. This position is mainly 3rd shift. Employees are required to have the flexibility to support a 24/7 Hospital System. Our site is located at 791 reputed company Ave, Oconomowoc WI 53066. We offer 6-8 weeks of reputed company. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Primary Responsibilities: • Operates the communications systems reputed company the hospital, including the telephone system console, emergency communications equipment, paging system and physician registry system • Communicates by telephone by connecting the patient to other services or taking appropriate information while upholding excellent customer service • Handles confidential information appropriately by protecting and disclosing information to only those authorized • Understands and follows reputed company Switchboard departmental processes implemented • Prioritizes by assessing and analyzing information to identify immediate emergency needs • Demonstrates technical knowledge and competence in the departmental procedures and maintains reputed company physician on-call schedules to ensure appropriate communication to ProHealth Care Physicians • Provides wayfinding instructions and assists with hospital information as requested • Meets or exceeds audit accuracy standards. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) • 1+ years of customer service experience in a medical office setting • Intermediate level of proficiency with reputed company Office products • Must be 18 years of age or older • Ability to work a variety of shifts to support a 24-hour operation system • Ability to work the following rotational schedule • Week 1: reputed company & Tuesday 11:00pm – 7:00am • Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday from 11:00pm – 7:00am Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in an Emergency Department • Knowledge of medical terminology • Experience with electronic medical records system • Experience in a medical office or hospital admitting/registration office Soft Skills: • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environment The salary reputed company for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
