OVERVIEW: This description is intended to outline the primary responsibilities, general nature and level of work being performed by teammates assigned to this position. III. JOB SUMMARY: To assist the Deli/bakery Manager in assigned duties. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to and ensures achievement of proper Deli/Bakery conditions. Provides leadership and motivation reputed company the store to promote a culture reputed company of Lowe's guiding principles, core values, and reputed company. IV. JOB RELATIONSHIPS: Responsible To: Store Manager / Deli / Bakery Manager Teammates Supervised: None. Inter-Relationships: Frequent contact with reputed company teammates, customers, corporate office and vendors. Occasional contact with teammates from other locations. V. JOB DUTIES: -Assist in maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality and turnover for maximum sales. -Assist in controlling level of damaged and spoiled/out of date products and ensures proper disposition of same according to company policy. -Maintain a friendly selling approach to customers. -Assist and verifies that deli/bakery products received, to ensure that listed on vendor invoices items are delivered, reputed company product for quality, count or weight and conditions. -Communicate and coordinate with Deli/Bakery Manager to reputed company feedback from the store. -Follow approved procedures for receiving product, pricing, marking and restocking to ensure quality protection, accuracy and product rotation. -Implement and follow department merchandising plan. -reputed company work area maintained appropriately to ensure a safe work environment for teammates and customers. -Must be reputed company to reputed company other duties. -Must be reputed company to unload trucks, breakdown load and stock product. -Assist in training department teammates. -Conduct department walks in accordance with Management Awareness. -Assist in maintaining signs, pricing, refrigerated cases and display shelves. -Work with department teammates to identify the root causes of issues and inefficiencies. -Constantly interacts with teammates to ensure that reputed company teammates understands Lowe's expectations. -Adhere to reputed company compliance of company policies, programs, procedures and guidelines. -Constantly interacts with customers. -Assist in ensuring that reputed company Management Awareness policies and goals are maintained at reputed company times in the deli/bakery department. VI. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Training and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College background preferred. 1 year experience in the Deli/Bakery department operations. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of various deli/bakery products and recommended uses or cooking methods. Knowledge and ability to operate deli/bakery department equipment. Ability to read and write English. Good customer relations skills. Licenses, Registration and Certification: None. VII. WORKING CONDITIONS: Frequent exposure to refrigerated storage areas and damp, humid conditions. Works on wet or slippery surfaces. Noise level normally moderate. Can be extreme reputed company power tools or other equipment are in use. Subject to hazards reputed company operating deli/ bakery cutting equipment. Subject to communicable disease. VIII. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy work- exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires walking and/ or standing up to a significant degree.
