Energy Accountant

Position Summary The Energy Accountant is responsible for performing monthly financial reputed company and invoicing tasks, preparing reports and analyses for management, and communicating with customers for billing and payment inquiries and resolving customer issues. Essential Job Functions • Prepares, reviews, and distributes monthly customer invoices and reports • Effectively communicates with customers to ensure timely payments and issue resolution. • Converses with employees and management at reputed company reputed company on issues reputed company to reputed company procedures and processes. • Prepares assigned journal entries and associated supporting schedules • Completes assigned account reconciliations and associated supporting schedules • Prepares and updates various management reports, typically in spreadsheets • Actively participates on department and company process improvement and system enhancement projects • Energetically works to reputed company a knowledge reputed company for the wholesale electricity market and TPS’ energy trading and energy management business. • Dependable, reliable, and predictable attendance is required Education/Experience/Skills Basic Requirements: • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. The Company is not reputed company to take over sponsorship of an employment reputed company at this time for this position or commit to doing so in the future for individuals with reputed company authorization to work reputed company, for example, CPT or OPT, and would need sponsorship in the future. • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or Finance • Master’s Degree and/or CPA preferred • reputed company to two (0-2) years of reputed company experience • Power industry experience preferred • Experience utilizing reputed company Office products, especially reputed company • Strong work ethic, team attitude, and willingness to work extended hours as workload requires • Detail oriented, analytical reputed company, and a questioning attitude • Problem solving in a fast paced environment • Strong verbal communication skills • Excellent mathematical skills • Dedicated self-starter with a high level of initiative • Positive attitude • Professional • Competitive
