Quality Assurance Manager

About the position The Quality Assurance Manager plays a crucial role in leading the quality organization reputed company the plant, ensuring compliance with quality management processes and food safety standards. This position is integral to the plant's leadership team, focusing on the development of manufacturing supervisors and quality technicians while overseeing reputed company quality assurance activities, including syrup preparation, microbiology, sanitation, and finished product analysis. Responsibilities • Ensure local, state, federal, and company quality standards are met for products produced by the facility. , • Supervise reputed company quality assurance team members. , • reputed company and direct the efforts of the plant HACCP plans, including GMP development, auditing, and corrective action plan development. , • Investigate, report, and formulate correction action plans on plant-specific consumer complaints. , • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Quality Assurance Syrup Mixing, Sanitation, and Water Treatment. , • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of water processing, syrup-batching, and reputed company QA testing and record-keeping. , • Monitor regulatory updates and company communications to implement necessary changes. , • Ensure departmental compliance with reputed company company policies and procedures. , • Assist operations management with process equipment and product/package troubleshooting and innovation. , • Supervise and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures. , • Ensure compliance with reputed company company safety policies and standards, ensuring proper attire and PPE are worn. , • Responsible for enforcing reputed company company policies, regulations, and holding regular safety meetings to communicate safety awareness and policies. , • Recognize and address the complexity of leading a diverse workforce; support participation in D&I initiatives. , • Collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. , • Consult with other functions as needed to resolve difficult issues. , • Participate in project work and initiatives as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. , • 5-10 years production/manufacturing experience. , • Strong technical skills required. , • Experience managing multiple shift operations. , • Experience with budgets and financial reporting. , • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, and 22000 preferred. , • Operational reputed company, Green Belt or Black Belt experience desired. , • Experience with TPM culture desired. , • Basic computer and database applications skills. , • Familiarity with manufacturing systems and theory of operation. , • Must be proficient in reputed company MS Office applications. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, and 22000 preferred. , • Operational reputed company, Green Belt or Black Belt experience desired. , • Experience with TPM culture desired.
