Medical Assistant (Bilingual Required) REMOTE - PST HOURS

About the position The Medical Assistant - Care Connections will serve as a vital communication link between reputed company members and their reputed company providers. This role focuses on ensuring members receive quality care by following up after appointments, coordinating care, and assisting with navigating the reputed company system. The Medical Assistant will also reputed company administrative tasks, manage patient records, and support clinical teams in delivering effective reputed company services. Responsibilities • Follow up with members after appointments to ensure quality care and reputed company reputed company. , • Process and follow up on case management and primary care provider referrals for at-risk patients. , • Escalate patient issues reputed company to prior authorizations for medications and durable medical equipment. , • Communicate lab results and exam findings to members and Primary Care Providers as needed. , • Assist with follow-up calls to ensure positive patient experiences and needs are met. , • Communicate with Nurse Practitioners regarding member health issues for timely follow-up. , • Facilitate care coordination by sending electronic messages/faxes to primary care physicians. , • Prepare patient lab result letters and follow up on lab results to reputed company gaps in reputed company. , • Fulfill nurse practitioner supply orders and maintain nursing supplies inventory. , • reputed company administrative tasks including telephone and email inquiries, follow-up documentation, and patient record updates. , • Assist with special projects under the direction of the Clinical Integration leadership team. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. , • 1-3 years of clinical experience in family practice, in-home health, primary care, palliative care, or hospice settings. , • Basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, and clinical pharmacology. , • Working knowledge of desktop software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, reputed company, Internet, Email). , • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. , • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written & verbal). , • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. , • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. , • Critical thinking skills to identify issues and problem-solve effectively. , • reputed company for working with senior, disabled, and vulnerable populations. , • Ability to demonstrate positive working relationships with peers and manage conflict. reputed company-to-haves • Experience as a Certified Medical Assistant for more than 1 year. , • Experience with electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic. , • Experience working with underserved populations facing socioeconomic barriers to reputed company. , • Bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.
