POSITION SUMMARY: To enter patient selections in the hand held computer in compliance with patient diet orders; assist patients in selecting their meals whenever possible; to explain basic diet information to patients and their family members; to act as a liaison between patients and the Department of Food & Nutrition ensuring that they receive the highest level of customer service. EXPERIENCE: One year previous experience as a Dietary Aide in a hospital food service or reputed company reputed company setting. SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to read, write and reputed company English including ability to read relatively small type on a computer screen. Good communication akills. Ability to pay attention to details while changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Must be comfortable speaking and interacting with patients and family members.
