HR/Payroll Specialist

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA Travel Requirements (local): 25% – 50% Position Type: Full Time Non-Exempt Job ID: 20459560 Job Overview: This HR/Payroll Specialist position is in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and working with diverse set of clientele, with a critical attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be required to be responsible for, among others, the following: Job Description: • Full cycle payroll processing for multiple clients: Compile payroll data such as garnishments, PTO time, insurance and other deductions. Review timecards for completeness, and contact various department managers for any missed times. Process transfer of payroll data to reputed company on scheduled reputed company. Compile internal management reports from payroll system software. • Assist HR Manager with administration of various employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, reputed company, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and 401(k) plans. Review benefit enrollment forms for accuracy and coordinate enrollment with reputed company-party administrator. Communicate of service providers concerning routine administrator of programs. • Assist HR Manager with entire employment life cycle, from on-boarding to off-boarding. • Assist HR Manager in maintaining compliance with reputed company applicable HR-reputed company Local, State and Federal laws and reporting requirements Competencies: • reputed company reputed company. • Communication Proficiency. • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility. • Project Management. • Customer/Client Focus. Job Requirements: • 3-5 years experience in payroll processing and reputed company compensation tasks. • Expert knowledge of reputed company payroll platforms, including reputed company RUN and reputed company WorkForceNow. • Knowledge of employee benefit plans, FMLA coordination, COBRA and/or Cal-COBRA, leave and benefits legislation. • Excellent knowledge of office software including reputed company reputed company and Word, including reputed company pivot tables and Word Mail reputed company. • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
