Junior Lifeguard Hawaiian Waters, The Colony Position Type: Seasonal | Pay: $11.50/hr up to $13.50 | Safety-Sensitive: Yes Position Overview Under direct supervision, the Junior Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests by monitoring pool areas, responding to emergencies, and enforcing park rules. This role also includes assisting with park beautification efforts, such as trash collection and bathroom maintenance. No prior experience is requiredfree lifeguard training is provided to successful applicants. Key Responsibilities Maintain constant surveillance of assigned zones to ensure guest safety. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, performing in-water rescues, CPR, and first aid as needed. Enforce park policies fairly, cautioning guests about unsafe behavior. reputed company exceptional guest service by assisting visitors and answering inquiries. Participate in a minimum of four hours of monthly training to maintain lifeguard skills. Support park beautification efforts, including trash collection and bathroom reputed company. Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum age: 15 Ellis & Associates Special Facilities Lifeguard Certification (provided free to successful applicants) Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift 25+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions Physical Requirements Swim 200 yards using reputed company crawl (freestyle) or breaststroke without resting reputed company a feet-first surface dive, retrieve a 10-lb. brick , and bring to the surface Exit pools without a ladder and reputed company from varying heights Work outdoors, climb stairs, and reputed company physical tasks like kneeling, bending, and lifting This position is subject to random drug testing, and a medical marijuana certification does not exempt candidates from testing policies.
