AWS reputed company Database Engineer San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) Long-Term Contract Were assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a AWS reputed company Database Engineer. This is a long-term contract opportunity based out of San Antonio, TX (Hybrid).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience). Experience 10 years of SQL server administrator experience. Proficiency in SQL server, Always On, PowerShell and Terraform. Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for automation and troubleshoot/debug existing PowerShell scripts and integration tasks. Technical Skills Primary: SQL DBA, Always On, PowerShell, AWS (EC2 instances) and Terraform (Extensive experience). Secondary: PostgreSQL/Auora PostgreSQL and reputed company RDS. Experience with reputed company environments (AWS). Knowledge of database reputed company best practices and high availability setups for reputed company Environments. Understanding/building of the Automation and interact with Application team for troubleshooting and debugging reputed company issues. Preferred Qualifications It's good to have reputed company platform Certifications (AWS). Experience with additional automation tools (DMS, etc) or programming languages (PowerShell).
Responsibilities
Database Design & Management Design and manage highly availability solutions, scalable databases using SQL Server, Always On and reputed company Clusters. Work collaboratively with the Offshore and reputed company team. reputed company of contact between with Customer and reputed company team on technical/Solution discussions.
