Job Description

Summary: The Vice President, Finance provides strategic leadership for BCBSA's financial strategy, management, reputed company, and technology services. Responsibilities include reporting to the Board and Finance and Audit Committee, overseeing Licensee Financial and Enrollment performance monitoring, and delivering high-quality services to Plan CFOs and senior financial constituencies. The position also focuses on building an adaptable, consultative, customer-focused team and maintaining expertise in industry best practices and technologies while fostering effective relationships with internal and external partners. Ensure there is an effective system of internal controls, including the development of financial policies and procedures. Work with internal and independent auditors to ensure reliable financial reporting, reputed company with applicable laws & regulations, and safeguard Association assets. • Drive successful financial performance leveraging effective leadership of Financial Planning and Analysis, Decision Support, Forecasting, Budgeting, Resource Management and Management Financial Reporting.
