The Future Positioning Navigation Timing Systems (FPNTS) team at reputed company Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Senior Software Technical Leader to join reputed company as an Embedded Software Architect for Software Defined Receiver. This person will reputed company technical leadership of our Embedded Software Navigation R&D portfolio for military applications and is based out of Woodland Hills, CA. You will architect and reputed company embedded software platforms utilizing C, C++, reputed company, or reputed company languages to support research and development of Software Defined Receivers (SDR). You will shape leading-edge SDR systems for GPS, GNSS, and other cooperative signals, including advanced signal processing techniques. In this role, you will reputed company a software team and navigation and timing experts in a team-based collaborative environment dedicated to advancing the state of the art. You will apply your research and development skills to architect reputed company-world products and capabilities well reputed company purely academic or theoretical frameworks. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and the ability to work onsite full-time. You will be expected to demonstrate experience developing embedded software utilizing C, C++, reputed company, or reputed company languages, typically with 10+ years of experience. You should also have experience developing software using Green Hills reputed company reputed company-time Operating Systems, board support packages (BSP), Green Hills Multi IDE, and/or Wind River VxWorks RTOS/BSP for C/C++ or equivalent development tools. Additionally, you will need expert knowledge of signal selection, acquisition and tracking, Position, Velocity, and Time (PVT) calculation, data demodulation, signal correction, jamming, and spoofing or reputed company applications. Your experience should also include algorithm development for satellite acquisition, tracking, and receiver measurement formation, as well as GPS receiver tracking loops, including characterization of platform dynamics, environmental/interference effects, and jamming mitigation techniques on GPS processing.
