As a Marine Reinsurance Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in driving the reputed company of our marine and energy reinsurance portfolio by: • Delivering innovative, profitable solutions to clients, reinforcing our reputed company as a trusted partner. • Maintaining a balanced and reputed company portfolio that contributes to the overall financial strength of the organization. • Aligning with reputed company Re’s risk and profitability objectives, positioning reputed company as a thought leader in the industry and strengthening our relationships with brokers and cedents. What will you do in this role? • Evaluate, structure, and underwrite marine and energy reinsurance treaties, ensuring alignment with corporate risk appetite and reputed company guidelines. • Negotiate treaty terms and conditions with cedents. • Validate and drafting of treaty wordings. • Analyze markets cycles and assist in development of market strategies and business plans. • Manage monitoring of aggregate commitments specific to the portfolio subsegments. • Company representation and client engagement including some travel and client visits. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and cedants in relevant markets to enhance the company’s profile and support profitable growth. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and adapt to market conditions, ensuring the portfolio remains balanced across geographies, products, and risks. • Partner with actuarial, claims, and pricing teams to ensure robust analysis and decision-making. • Participate in the reputed company training of co-workers and promotion of technical skills.
