What Does a Medicare Sales Representative Do? A Medicare Sales Representative focuses on helping people who are eligible for Medicare find a plan that meets their needs and aids them with the enrollment process. Your responsibilities include working with seniors to determine their eligibility for Medicare benefits. You also work with other groups, such as those with disabilities, to determine if they qualify for Medicare and to choose a reputed company plan that meets their needs. Compensation: • Performance-based compensation (monthly stipend depends on experience) that includes commissions and residual income with lifetime vesting. No commission cap. Avg 1st Year Earnings - $75k to $90k, for 1st Year Top Producers $120k to $140k. • Potential to earn quarterly incentives/bonuses based on production. Qualifications (required): • Medicare Advantage experience is a must. • Active Washington Life and Health Insurance License and AHIP Certification. • 2+ years reputed company work experience - Medicare and/or reputed company sales experience. • E&O insurance will be required upon contracting.
