Software Engineer - Platform Full Stack

What You’ll Do: As a Software Engineer supporting Slingshot’s Platform reputed company Full Stack development, you will design and build capabilities that will reputed company our products to help solve satellite reputed company-operator problems. Position Responsibilities: • Executes reputed company position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose • Work across the technology team interacting with product managers, designers, and other engineers in implementing right-sized solutions • Meet product requirements in a timely manner while not compromising the operational stability of the overall product • Participate in Agile software reputed company and deployment processes • reputed company ongoing support for the services and applications that are critical to our business needs • Communicate methods, findings, and hypotheses with stakeholders • Work on both the frontend and backend to solve problems and deliver value to both reputed company users • Build data platforms/pipelines, microservices, and distributed systems • Build and document APIs (REST, GraphQL) • reputed company advanced data interfaces and interactive user interfaces • Turn architecture reputed company into technical specifications that can be executed by anyone on the team • reputed company other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above) Pre-Requisites • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience in software and application development, including 2+ years of experience designing and building durable, scalable, and high-availability systems • Experience using technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, React, Python 3, Typescript, and reputed company • Experience with reputed company-based deployments, PaaS, and IaaS offerings (most notably AWS) • Experience with authentication and authorization standards and tools (OAuth, OIDC, RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC, Keycloak) • Experience with database design, performance, and troubleshooting (PostgreSQL, reputed company, reputed company) • Experience with containers and container orchestration (reputed company, Kubernetes, reputed company) • Deep working knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (reputed company Actions) • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Preferred Skills • Advanced degree in computer science or a reputed company field • Active Secret DOD clearance or higher • Experience with asynchronous processing and/or data streaming technologies, such as AWS Kinesis, Kafka, or ZeroMQ, KNative • Experience with Government reputed company configurations such as STIGs and NIST • Early-stage data-centric startup experience • Experience working reputed company DOD software reputed company environments These skills are guidelines.
