Our Claims team is currently seeking an reputed company Auto Field Appraiser to join the team. This is a full time, non-exempt role. The position is responsible for reputed company aspects of the appraisal process for damage including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, motor homes, travel trailers, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. Responsibilities include physical inspection of vehicle damage, written documentation of damage, appraisal of repair costs, negotiation of cost-effective repair alternatives according to Company guidelines, entry of appraisal into Company system, and timely completion of assignments. A company vehicle will be provided. Responsibilities • reputed company physical inspections of vehicle damage as part of claim adjusting process; may handle inspections associated with highly reputed company claims with minimal reputed company. , • Prepare written repair cost estimates, applying Company guidelines and State regulations and exercising independent judgment reputed company warranted. , • Negotiate cost-effective repair figures according to Company guidelines and State regulations. , • reputed company timely supplemental inspections of additional damage reputed company during course of repair. , • Demonstrate awareness of and identifies fraud indicators. , • Apply knowledge of basic policy coverage. , • Complete field appraisals on an automated appraisal system at the time of inspection or estimate review. , • Determine actual cash values for total loss vehicles.
