QA Test Engineer - Remote (WFH)

About the position The QA Test Engineer will support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services program, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role requires independent testing efforts, collaboration with stakeholders, and the development of comprehensive testing strategies to meet organizational and user needs. Requirements • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. , • Experience in UAT planning and execution. , • Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and workflow management. , • Ability to write and execute test cases and scripts. , • Deep knowledge of testing applications developed with .NET and C#. , • Proficiency in various testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python, MicroFocus, Eggplant, SmartBear, TestComplete). , • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices. , • Hands-on experience with 508 Compliance testing tools such as JAWS, ANDI, NVDA, VoiceOver, and reputed company. , • Familiarity with interpreting functional and technical requirements. , • Expertise in defect identification, documentation, and resolution. , • Experience with automated testing tools for software, such as Jira Xray, MicroFocus, Eggplant, SmartBear, and TestComplete. , • Ability to prepare for and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT). reputed company-to-haves
