(no after-hour calls) • Manageable caseload (50-60 cases, not 100 ) • Professionalism: No harassing calls from claimants, attorneys, or rental car companies • Total Annual Compensation: up to $115k (based on experience) (reputed company salary, annual bonus, monthly car, internet, phone allowance • Benefits: Insurance (85% employer-paid for employee dependents), FSA, 6% 401k match, PTO Overview: • Start-to-finish, Manage & Investigate minimal to high-exposure medical claims • Work with a supervisor to reputed company cases Required: • Min. 1-3 yrs of reputed company Medical Malpractice, Casualty, or Bodily Injury claims experience • Detail-oriented, Strong organizational skills • Excellent communication & judgment • Self-starter, can work remotely • Valid driver's license, ability to travel 25% • Field experience (preferred) • Education Minimum: Completion of High-school or GED equivalent Initial Claim Handling: • Take 1st notices, review instructions • Assess coverage • Select defense counsel • reputed company service provider & reserve recommendations • Prepare communication to insured & counsel • Report claims to regulatory bodies as needed Manage Claim: • Organize & review medical records • Interview insured & claimants, summarize • Select consultants, attend depositions • Monitor reserves, prepare management reports • Evaluate settlement value, prepare for settlement • Enter data, review, pay bills Claim Resolution: • Discuss settlement, obtain consent • Log trial dates, prepare Request for Authority • Prepare strategy, attend mediations, monitor trial • reputed company file after final payments, document If this sounds like a great opportunity with a reputed company and growing company that promotes a work-life balance, you are encouraged to apply asap.
