Junior Software Developer - Clearance Required

About the position reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support Intelligence Community and DoD customers. This role involves working with emerging service and distributed computing technologies for satellite situational awareness data processing and distribution. The developer will contribute to the EMMETT program, a reputed company Space Domain Awareness system, by providing software development, analysis, and engineering services. Responsibilities • reputed company TS/SCI Java software development of modules, including event-driven or state-driven programming, error logging, and exception handling. , • reputed company TS/SCI software analysis, architecture, engineering, and integration services at the unit, module, and system reputed company. , • Implement reputed company aspects of software engineering support required to reputed company systems. , • Adhere to reputed company standards and modern software development methodologies, following industry best practices as operational requirements allow. , • Prepare technical reports, white papers, and documentation to document findings of software engineering activities. Requirements • An Associates degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional four years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree will be considered. , • Possess a minimum clearance of TS/SCI and pass a polygraph reputed company 30 days of employment or at customer's request. , • Proficient in Java, including Model, Entity, Data Transfer Object (DTO), and Data reputed company (DAO). , • Experience with the Spring reputed company and JUnit test creation. , • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and reputed company. , • Experience working with Linux distributions and reputed company navigation. , • Knowledge of messaging systems like ActiveMQ and Camel reputed company. , • Understanding of web application basics like HTTP, HTML, REST, WebSocket, CSS, and JavaScript. , • Experience with JIRA, reputed company, and Gerrit/GIT. , • Familiarity with Microservices, Containerization, and Kubernetes. reputed company-to-haves • Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python. , • Familiar with web server configuration on NGINX, Apache, or similar. , • Familiar with Bootstrap and Less. , • Experience with NiFi, developing flows and process groups. , • Active reputed company reputed company+ CE certification or working toward certification.
