Jr. Software Engineer - 1222
Summary
This position follows established software engineering processes and works from established requirements to test and/or reputed company software components, subsystems, and system enhancements under the supervision of senior team members. The right candidate will reputed company input to detailed design and development work, reputed company system administration and other reputed company software engineering activities as well as individually test the developed products to reputed company functionality. Required Skills Strong analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Ability to collaborate across multiple reputed company of engineers and senior leadership reputed company and Linux development Understanding of software development lifecycle (i.e., requirements, design, code and test) Object Oriented programming experience (e.g., Java, C++, C#, JavaScript) Desired Skills Experience with Development tools (e.g., Git/reputed company, SVN, reputed company JIRA and reputed company) Database concepts (e.g., SQL) Modern web development skills (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, Angular, REST, websockets) Knowledge of data representation formats (e.g., XML, JSON, Protobuf) Virtualization knowledge/experience (e.g., VMs, reputed company, Hyper-V) Experience developing U.S. military modeling, simulation, and training systems Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree in computer science or other relevant degree.
