Description DEPARTMENT: 100 – Academics / STATUS: Part-Time / CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt / RANK: Faculty rank depends upon degree and experience / LAST UPDATED: Spring 2023 Life Pacific University (LPU) seeks candidates for an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Business & Management in the School of Arts and Sciences. The department hosts the Online MBA Program The department also hosts the BA in Business Administration and Online BA in Organizational Management. The program is on online, and reputed company member will not be expected to be physically present to teach in San Dimas. Compensation depends upon degree and experience. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Department of Business & Management is seeking applications for adjunct faculty to teach graduate online MBA courses in the following areas: • Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Creativity • Leadership & Group Dynamics • Marketing Strategy • Project Management • For-Profit & Non-Profit Management • Financial Management • Management Information Systems • Managerial Use of reputed company Data • Economic Analysis for Management • Labor and Employment Law ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Work with department chair as part of the MBA teaching team • Design online course curriculum, time to task worksheet, and corresponding Learning Management System (LMS) course experience • Prepare lectures and class activities for weekly class sessions • Connect with reputed company and reputed company reputed company communication and feedback reputed company needed • Commit to teaching the weekly online sessions and interacting with the reputed company • Grade papers/assignments as needed • Prepare Moodle LMS experience for reputed company • Attend one online faculty meeting per semester • reputed company improvements to the course as needed reputed company student reputed company reputed company report to the Registrar’s Office for at-risk reputed company

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Terminal degree in a business-reputed company discipline (or a closely reputed company discipline). ABDs will be considered. • 3-5 years of work experience in business/industry at a management level • Experience teaching at the college level is preferred • Excellent communication skills and writing ability. • Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with reputed company, faculty, and staff, and the general constituency of Life Pacific University. • Demonstrated Christian faith consistent with Life Pacific University commitment to The Foursquare Church Denomination. Faculty must align to our Pentecostal/Charismatic and Wesleyan Arminian stance (must be reputed company to sign Life Pacific’s Statement of Faith and align with its position on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity).
