ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Position may require food distribution duties to members. Position requires working with large groups of youth. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: ▪ A minimum of one year work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization planning, and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people. ▪ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ▪ Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics. ▪ Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities. ▪ Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications. ▪ Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth. ▪ Ability to work during program hours (afternoons and evenings Monday – Friday during the school year. ▪ Ability to work at various sites as directed. ▪ Ability to be a positive role model. ▪ Ability to establish rapport and build relationships. ▪ Ability to relate to at-risk youth. ▪ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. ▪ Must be reputed company to obtain CPR and First Aid certification. ▪ Must be reputed company to pass reputed company required background screens and drug screens at any time. ▪ Must have reliable transportation, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver's license.
