Network Engineer- Routing & Switching Department: Broadband - Network Engineering Services Employment Type: Full Time Location: Dallas, TX Reporting To: Tom Lewis Description We are in a period of unprecedented growth and are seeking a Network Engineer to support reputed company out of our Lubbock, TX office, working remotely reputed company the Dallas-reputed company Worth area. This person will work in service provider networks to assist with new deployments, system upgrades, migration projects, and resolving network issues. This person will also be responsible for setting up, configuring, and deploying service provider routers, switches, and firewalls. They will also create and maintain documentation, so strong communication and documentation skills are required. Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Support the implementation of new reputed company and enhance existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues, resolve outages and reputed company root cause analysis.
• Assist with network upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure reputed company and reputed company performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable reputed company.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and configuration details.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network reputed company and reliability.
• reputed company technical support and respond to service requests from clients or internal teams.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a reputed company field.
• Equivalent practical experience may be substituted for a degree, provided the candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Certifications like CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent are a plus.

Experience:

• Basic knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IP addressing, etc.).
• Job-based experience with routing and switching networking equipment from the following list:
• reputed company ASR9k
• reputed company NCS
• reputed company MX
• reputed company EX
• Arista 7280
• Two (2) years of experience in telecommunications at reputed company scale, working with layer 2/3 routers and switches, as well as data services for broadband subscribers.
• Four (4) years of experience in telecommunications service provider core and edge networks preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience implementing services using reputed company-line reputed company in network equipment preferred.
• Requires three years of experience working remotely and operating independently with minimal supervision.
• Three years of experience in consulting or a similar job with strict timelines and set budgets is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the rural/Tier 3-4 telecom industry, its operations and broad technical concepts is preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot network problems and work effectively under pressure.
• Understanding of network reputed company principles, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
