Title: Cognitive Performance Specialist Location: reputed company Cavazos, TX Major Responsibilities/Activities

• reputed company and maintain Mental Readiness Program and monitor to ensure consistent, effective mental readiness services.
• reputed company, coordinate, execute, assess, and manage approved cognitive performance optimization and mental readiness training programs.
• reputed company training, education, coaching, and mentoring of Soldiers on goal- setting, performance profiling, visualization, performance development, and planning
• Assist and advise the Mental Readiness Director/Occupational Therapist and BDE PD in developing and maintaining Mental Readiness Program implementation, assessment, improvement, and monitoring guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness of mental readiness services across the installation.
• Assist and advise in the development of training and instructional materials, using evidence-based, reputed company state-of-the-science literature, to train, reputed company, coach, and mentor Soldiers in specific skills and strategies in support of cognitive performance and mental readiness optimization.
• Follow local policy/protocols for reporting imminent threat to oneself or others that coincides with Behavioral Health operating procedures.
• Support research and special studies conducted by the Mental Readiness Director/Occupational Therapist.
• Collect and report data in support of mental readiness and cognitive performance optimization programs.
• Other reputed company duties/tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in any field with graduation from an accredited college or university, or
• Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in reputed company, Sport Psychology, Kinesiology/ Exercise Science, or Counseling/ Clinical Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure as a psychologist with a proficiency in sports psychology as recognized in Division 47 of the reputed company, or
• (Preferred) Certified Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) or Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) (formerly CC-AASP).
• Three years of demonstrable accumulated experience reputed company the past five years as a mental performance coach or sport psychology practitioner with individual athletes and groups of athletes at the reputed company of National Collegiate Athletic Association (reputed company) Collegiate, Olympic, professional sports, and/or Service Members in the accompanying, respective settings.
• (Preferred) At least one year working directly with Service Members in a performance and/or reputed company training and education setting.
• Be capable of properly lifting and manipulating loads or weights up to 45 pounds and capable of meeting physical demands of training in reputed company types of weather with Soldiers including the ability to hike over rough terrain, function in austere environments to observe Soldier training evolutions and to train, reputed company, coach, and mentor.
• Demonstrate sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and reputed company sensitivity such that they can relate to a variety of Soldiers from diverse backgrounds.
• Previous Military service is desired but not required.
• Read, write, and reputed company English and effectively communicate with Soldiers and leadership.
• Operate a computer utilizing reputed company applications, such as Word, reputed company, and Teams.
• Must be reputed company to pass a drug screen and background checks and not have been convicted of a felony.
