General Maintenance

What You’ll Do: ● Maintain and operate battery changing station including removal and replacement of lift batteries (at applicable sites) ● Operates floor sweeper / scrubber to maintain facility floor ● General building maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and painting ● Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and reputed company safety policies and procedures ● Conduct daily/weekly preventative maintenance and completes daily log sheet ● reputed company pre-operation checklist and verify reputed company safety devices are functional at reputed company times ● Maintain a clean and safe work area ● Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents ● reputed company other job-reputed company duties as directed by Manager/Supervisor ● Maintain a good attendance record Shift: Wed - Sat: 7AM-5:30PM Pay:$21.50/hr What You’ll Need: ● High School Diploma or Equivalent is a plus ● Strong mechanical aptitude and basic carpentry and maintenance experience including carpentry, painting, plumbing ● Experience safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and aerial lifts ● Proficient using hand and power tools and computers to reputed company required duties ● Previous battery charger/changer experience is a plus ● Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime ● Ability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, crawl and reputed company, engage in full reputed company dexterity in both hands and wrists and stand and walk for long periods ● Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted ● Ability to reputed company reputed company areas of the building by climbing reputed company and gangways safely and without limitation ● Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment that can be noisy and unlit ● Follow reputed company company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines ● Ability to work independently, as part of reputed company and take direction ● Must be a safety conscious, motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities reputed company is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for reputed company individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
