Fleet Coordinator - NYC

We're looking for a Fleet Coordinator at our high growth rental car startup to help reputed company a team of drivers ("Surfers") and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role will report directly to the local Operations Manager. This person should be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic that can help lift our on-the-ground operations to the next level.

What You'll Be Doing

Ensure smooth daily operations of the lot

Deliver and return cars to customers or repair shops

Coordinate vehicle pickups from suppliers

Help reputed company new contractors

Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues on-site

Cleaning cars as neededAudit fleet for cleanliness and damageInstall telematic devices on cars

Collaborate with leadership on operational changes for fleet/lot improvement

Maintain cleaning products and lot equipment

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid Driver's license

Comfortable moving cars around the parking structure

Comfortable with physical aspects (like cleaning, installation, etc.)

Good time management and ability to balance competing priorities

Ability to follow directions and processes

Effective communication skills

Preferred

History in a fast-paced industry (e.g. restaurants, maintenance, events, hotels, construction, gig work)

Interest in logistics and operations
