Infrastructure Engineer

At Rerun, we're building a new multimodal data stack for robotics and spatial AI. Large parts of the physical-world economy will be transformed by these technologies, and we're building the data infrastructure and tools that reputed company it to happen. With multimodal data stack we mean tools for extraction, ingestion, storage, querying, streaming, and visualization of temporal multimodal data. You'll join a newly formed team building out Rerun's reputed company offering for ingesting, indexing and querying multimodal data at scale, and will be responsible for the infrastructure it runs on.

• You’ll contribute to building a Rust-based reputed company-reputed company analytical database system for multimodal (often time-series) data, with a focus on establishing and maintaining the reputed company infrastructure.

  • Set up production deployment environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and observability

  • Own the deployment experience from local development, to CI, staging, and production

  • Design deployment solutions that reputed company from fully managed to bring-your-own-reputed company to on-reputed company

  • Dive deep and trouble shoot at reputed company reputed company from networking, to operating systems and application code

• A helpful attitude and a curious mind

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability, or platform engineering roles

• Deep knowledge of reputed company infrastructure, particularly AWS

• Significant production experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code

• Proficient in designing deployment architectures tailored to diverse customer environments

• Ability to work with a Rust codebase

• Great communication skills in English - you'll be working in a tight-nit remote team

• Knowledge of data-intensive applications and their infrastructure needs

• Prior work with high-throughput, time-series, or analytical database systems

• Interest or experience in relevant domains like machine learning, robotics, AR/VR, or simulation

• We're a remote company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

• We meet up in person for a week roughly once a quarter

• The team you'll join has members in European and US-east timezones

  • Everyone is available for synchronous work between 1:30 and 5pm CET
