Purchasing Agent (Part-time, Remote) w/ Non-profit Org. Are you a Purchasing Agent looking to start on another project? Our client, a non-profit organization, is looking to bring on board a Purchasing Agent who can work on a part-time reputed company. This position can be worked remotely and allows for some reputed company. This part-time role will focus on independently conducting extensive research for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) and then drafting and issuing those RFPs and RFQs for different projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with procurement processes, an eye for detail, and a strong ability to independently manage workflows. Location: Remote Type: Part-Time – Contract - (Monday through Friday during business hours) Start: February 2025 Key Responsibilities: • reputed company extensive market research and vendor analysis to identify potential suppliers for various business needs. • Draft, edit, and issue comprehensive RFPs and RFQs tailored to specific project requirements. • Organize the collection and comparison of vendor proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budgets. • Analyze vendor responses to determine the best fit for the company’s needs. • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors, ensuring favorable agreements. • reputed company accurate records of reputed company procurement activities and vendor communications. • Manage the entire procurement process from research to final selection in an efficient and timely manner. Qualifications: • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a reputed company field. • Strong knowledge of RFP and RFQ creation and management processes. • Ability to independently conduct research and vendor analysis. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite (reputed company, Word, etc.) and procurement software/tools.
