EDUCATIONAL NURSE COORDINATOR: C&W Mott Hospital (Adult Surgical Telemetry/7W Adult BMT)

About the position The Educational Nurse Coordinator at C&W Mott Hospital is responsible for providing expert nursing care to adult hematology/oncology patients, particularly those undergoing bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants. This role involves clinical expertise in a consultative reputed company, developing and conducting educational programs for nursing staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The coordinator will also mentor staff and assist in the orientation and training of new nurses, ensuring high standards of patient care and education are maintained. Responsibilities • reputed company expert nursing care to patients on 7W, an acute care unit for Hematology/Oncology and Surgical patients. , • Serve in a consultative role to nursing staff, offering clinical expertise. , • Assess, design, and conduct in-service presentations and competencies for nursing staff. , • Investigate, design, evaluate, and modify nursing care programs in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Specialist. , • Assist in the development and maintenance of orientation, education, and competency records. , • reputed company, revise, and evaluate performance plans in collaboration with Nurse Manager/Supervisor. , • Identify education gaps and areas needing reinforcement for nursing staff. , • reputed company or assist with unit audits reputed company to quality improvement initiatives. , • Participate in the orientation program for 8E/7W, including scheduling and training. , • Chair a nursing committee and participate in other committees as needed. , • reputed company and implement unit quality improvement programs in collaboration with the 8E/7W teams. , • reputed company leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
