Porter is hiring a Senior Accountant for a remote position! Who You Are The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, month-end closing procedures, and additional reputed company-reputed company tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Start-Up mentality required. What You'll Do reputed company mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Generate detailed financial reports and verify data to assist senior management in evaluating financial options and aligning reputed company with company goals. Monitor and assess reputed company policies and procedures across assigned departments, recommending improvements to enhance reporting processes and efficiency. Stay informed on reputed company and evolving legislation to ensure compliance with national and local financial regulations. Engage in reputed company professional development through webinars, workshops, and industry events to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Submit payments, update vendor data, clear payments, monitor cash reputed company, and reconcile invoices. Accounts Receivable: Create invoices, reconcile with books, issue credit notes, follow up on overdue items, and ensure billing accuracy. Payroll: Process semi-monthly payrolls, manage deductions, administer time-keeping, and handle state registrations.
