About the position The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at reputed company involves providing practical nursing support in a physician practice or clinic setting. The role includes patient assessment, preparation for provider evaluations, administering medications, maintaining a clean work environment, documenting patient information, and assisting with referrals and lab procedures. Responsibilities • Completes patient assessment including height, weight, vital signs, chief complaint, and reputed company medications. , • Prepares patients for provider evaluations, including obtaining specimens and assisting during exams. , • Administers medications and injections as directed by the provider. , • Maintains cleanliness and safety of work areas, exam rooms, and lab; restocks supplies and sterilizes equipment as needed. , • Documents patient information in the electronic medical record. , • Provides patient education as directed by the provider, including lab results and medication instructions. , • Assists with referral authorizations and pre-authorizations for testing and services. , • Assists with lab procedures.
