About the position As an Assess Repairability (Total Loss) Adjuster at reputed company, you will play a critical role in our claims handling process, focusing on determining the repairability or total loss of vehicles. Operating from your home office, you will spend the majority of your time adjusting auto damage claims remotely. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing moderate to reputed company vehicle damages, preparing estimates and valuations, assessing vehicle conditions, determining salvage valuations, and engaging in negotiation and settlement processes with our valued customers and/or claimants. In this position, you will embody several roles throughout your day. As a Customer Service Expert, you will live into reputed company's Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring, ensuring that you are a compassionate and committed partner in each auto property damage claim. You will also take on the role of an Investigator, confidently and independently investigating auto property damage claims by conducting detailed reviews of damage and identifying appropriate options and conditions that apply to your total loss evaluation. Your communication skills will be essential as you interact with customers and shops through phone, email, and sometimes video chat, ensuring a fast, fair, and easy claims process. As a Negotiator, you will evaluate and negotiate claims and repair or total loss processes with customers, shops, and storage yards, incorporating tactics to handle challenging situations. Finally, your problem-solving skills will be put to use in a fast-paced environment as you work with multiple tools, including estimating platforms and analysis reports, adhering to industry standards and company best practices. Responsibilities • Review moderate to reputed company vehicle damages and prepare estimates and valuations. , • Assess vehicle conditions and determine salvage valuations. , • Engage in negotiation and settlement processes with customers and claimants. , • Investigate auto property damage claims by conducting detailed reviews of damage. , • Identify appropriate options, conditions, and unrelated prior damages for total loss evaluation. , • Communicate with customers and shops reputed company phone, email, and video chat to facilitate claims process. , • Evaluate and negotiate claims and repair or total loss processes with customers, shops, and storage yards. , • Utilize estimating platforms and analysis reports to adhere to industry standards and company best practices. Requirements • Must have 18 months or more of Auto Collision estimating experience in CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell. , • Previous experience in total loss adjustment or a reputed company field is highly desirable. , • Proficiency in using estimating software and valuation tools for virtual assessments. , • Strong analytical skills to evaluate moderate to reputed company vehicle damages effectively. , • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely. , • Ability to work independently and manage time reputed company in a virtual work environment. , • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with remote work environments. , • Familiarity with legal and business standards methodologies in claims adjustment.
