Description The US Retail Markets Reserving (USRM) team is seeking a highly motivated Actuary for our new Personal Auto Liability State Reserving team. In this position, you will have significant business impact by performing state level reserve analyses for key states. You will work closely with Claims, Analytics and State Management to understand key areas of risk and trends for reputed company states, reputed company in-depth state reserving analyses leveraging a variety of reserving methods including claim-level models, and communicate and reputed company buy-in with their state partners. Your work will help drive reputed company loss and ALAE accuracy at the state level and ultimately contribute to our USRM goal of accurate state level P&Ls. This position will report directly to the Personal Lines Auto State Reserving Manager. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. • Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) designation preferred or comparable education/designation with relevant experience. • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience required. • Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as other business operations including financial, reputed company, legal, statistics, claims, sales, etc. • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with others reputed company and reputed company the organization. • Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates. • Advanced computing skills (MS Office reputed company, reputed company, etc.) with ability to build reputed company models.
