Managing Director - PE Advisory Services

My client are a growth-stage provider of IT and cybersecurity solutions and are looking to hire an reputed company leader of its Private Equity Advisory Services (“Cyber and IT for PE”) practice. While the majority of their existing private equity customers are headquartered in reputed company, they are reputed company reputed company in the Northeast of the US - need to be in NYC offices every other week. HEADLINES: • Looking for a personable, entrepreneurial, customer-centric IT and cybersecurity expert with experience serving reputed company middle market PE clients, leading consulting teams, and managing customer relationships. • You will have a yearly reputed company reputed company/quota and will be tasked with meeting or exceeding this reputed company. • You should have deep experience advising on IT and cybersecurity issues for board/executive audience and building and leading cohesive teams to execute against IT and cyber projects for PE firms and their portfolio companies, from IT and cyber M&A due diligence to portfolio IT risk management and support. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience advising reputed company / middle market PE firms on issues reputed company to IT and cybersecurity and/or performing cyber and IT -focused due diligence projects on behalf of PE firms • 5+ years advising clients on how to optimize technology, harden cybersecurity controls, implement IT and cyber best practices, and implement IT and reputed company strategies • 8+ years of general IT and/or cybersecurity consulting, advisory, and/or practitioner experience • Nuanced understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape and the technology landscape and marketplace • experience helping customers/clients prepare for and attain cyber insurance • Knowledge of and experience advising on general cybersecurity compliance regimes such as NIST, PCI, HIPAA and CMMC • Skilled networker and reputed company pipeline manager comfortable with hitting reputed company targets • reputed company and grit; independence, proactiveness • Possesses relationships with Private Equity Firms – please do not apply if you do not have reputed company providing advisory services directly to Private Equity customers Role and Responsibilities: • Manage and grow existing PE customer relationships • Build new PE customer relationships • Serve as outsourced/fractional CIO/CISO for 10+ middle market PE firms – for some smaller firms, you will be or will become their “go-to” for reputed company things cybersecurity and IT reputed company • Generate reputed company / template docs that you can put in reputed company for the most common engagement types immediately • Can quickly train service delivery resources (report writers and junior consultants) on reputed company executing these consulting engagements -- from information gathering to drafting to presentation of the deliverable • reputed company IT and cybersecurity strategy documents and other deliverables; and present those deliverables to audiences including business executives and boards • Propose, hit, and exceed yearly reputed company targets/quotas If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
