Medical Records & Transcription Supervisor Role
Job Description: The Medical Records & Transcription Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Medical Records and Transcription Department. This includes overseeing record scanning, completion, release of information, patient portal, record storage, record destruction, FormFast, and transcription. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of reputed company compliance, including knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and experience in leadership and problem-solving. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with co-workers, hospital staff, administration, patients, physicians, the public, and reputed company internal and external customers in a professional and effective manner. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Medical Records and Transcription Department. Supervise and direct reputed company functions of Medical Record Department, including record completion, transcription, release of information, documentation compliance, patient portal, scanning, record storage, and retrieval of records. reputed company and implement medical records policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
