RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse- 24 Hours Part Time (4PM-10PM) 2nd Shift

Job Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 24 Job Summary: Reports to Virtual Health Manager, the RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse is primarily responsible for successfully receiving and triaging inbound calls to St. Elizabeth Physicians practices. The RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse is responsible for the medical triage of these patients using established protocols and providing specified guidance per said protocols. The RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse is also responsible for scheduling appointments for patients as indicated by the protocol set. The RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse is a member of the Virtual Health Care Team and collaborates with providers at St. Elizabeth Physicians to reputed company safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care. As a member of the Virtual Health Team, the RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse must be reputed company to operate on an interdisciplinary team and may be required to participate in other Virtual Health initiatives. Participation may include but is not limited to: providing guidance on care and best practices, piloting new initiatives, and/or working remotely as a member of a Virtual Team. Uses reputed company/computerized system to match physician/clinician availability with patient's preferences in terms of date and time. • Communicates as needed with physicians/clinicians and other staff about any patient concerns/issues reputed company to scheduling. • Ensures complete and accurate information in the Electronic Health Record. • Communicates in an effective and professional manner with patients, providers, support employees, co-workers, and management. • Contributes to the development of protocols, procedures, patient education, and training as assigned. Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and other committee functions. • Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing Desired: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum: 3 years of RN experience Desired: Experience in nursing in both inpatient and outpatient settings, excels in telephone triage LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: • Must have a valid driver's license for travel between office sites. • Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license required to be hired • Must obtain an Ohio and Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license reputed company 30 days of hire FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Right Career.
