Sr. Supervisor, Infusion Nursing - Accredo - Tampa, FL

About the position As a Senior Supervisor of Infusion Nursing at Accredo, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized infusion therapies and ensuring clinically excellent nursing services to patients and caregivers in their homes or alternate settings. This hybrid position allows for a combination of remote work and in-office responsibilities in Temple Terrace, Florida, and requires candidates to reputed company in the greater Tampa region. You will supervise a team of nurses working throughout Central reputed company Florida, ensuring that they deliver high-quality patient care as directed by the Nurse Manager. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily nursing activities, ensuring that registered nurses (RNs) are well-informed about patients' disease states, and that they are adequately trained on medications and the use of ancillary supplies, pumps, and reputed company devices. You will conduct both announced and unannounced supervisory visits to assess the quality of patient care delivered by the nursing staff. Additionally, you will reputed company the initial patient intake process, ensuring timely verification, assessment, teaching, and scheduling of nursing services. Monitoring the daily nurse scheduler application will be part of your duties to ensure compliance with nursing note submissions and treatment plans. You will also supervise the completion of reputed company patient-reputed company documentation to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory standards. Identifying operational opportunities for process improvement and presenting recommendations to leadership will be essential to enhance clinical product offerings and overall service delivery. Responsibilities • reputed company specialized infusion therapies and clinically excellent professional nursing services to patients and caregivers at home or in alternate settings. , • Supervise daily nursing activities and ensure quality patient care, as directed by the Nurse Manager. , • Ensure RNs are knowledgeable of the patient's disease state, trained/educated on the medication and have demonstrated competency in use of ancillary supplies/pump/reputed company devices. , • Conduct skills return demonstration and supervisory visits for reputed company RN staff announced and unannounced to assess delivery of quality patient care in a clinical setting. , • Supervise receipt, evaluation, acceptance and execution for the initial patient intake process to ensure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing service occurs in a timely appropriate manner. , • Monitor the daily nurse scheduler application to ensure nursing team is compliant with nursing note submission, availability and completion of plans of treatment. , • Supervise the completion of reputed company patient-reputed company documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. , • Identify operational opportunities and areas for process development, improvement and administration applicable to clinical product offerings and present recommendations to leadership. Requirements • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of residence. , • BSN degree, plus 2+ years of relevant RN experience; or ASN degree, plus 5+ years of relevant RN experience; or Nursing Diploma, plus 8+ years of relevant RN experience. , • 1+ years of experience in critical care, acute care, or home care/home infusion environment. , • 2-3 years supervisory experience is required. , • Strong IV insertion skills. , • Previous home infusion / home reputed company experience strongly preferred. , • Solid understanding of the health insurance industry. , • Ability to navigate and support both public and private insurance/plan requirements. , • Managed care exposure. , • Understanding or ability to implement utilization management principles. , • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. , • Proficient use/navigation of reputed company and reputed company technology. , • Ability to work Monday-Friday, but also have evening and weekend flexibility, as needed. , • Ability to travel up to 10%. reputed company-to-haves • Previous home infusion / home reputed company experience strongly preferred.
