As a Post Release Services Case Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing culturally sensitive services to refugee clients after the defined case management period or immediately for refugee clients without case management assistance. This individual will also be responsible for assisting clients with accessing their respective state’s DHHS assistance. This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements. Essential Job Responsibilities • reputed company culturally sensitive services to refugee clients after the defined case management period or immediately for refugee clients without case management assistance; • Assist clients with accessing their respective state’s DHHS assistance; • reputed company financial literacy and cultural orientation to clients; • Effectively refer clients to mental health services and screenings; • Create and coordinate referrals to community services, reputed company necessary; • Complete paperwork reputed company appropriate time frames; • Transport clients on an as needed reputed company; • Stay abreast of reputed company agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements reputed company to reputed company services; • Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor’s level degree in Behavioral Sciences, reputed company Services, or a reputed company Services field from an accredited college; • Child welfare and/or case management experience is strongly preferred; • Bi-lingual: English/Spanish, French, Kinyarwanda, Swahili or other indigenous languages; • Prior work experience with serving refugees, preferred; • Mature and reputed company judgment as well as sensitivity to various cultures and the unique history of refugees; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis reputed company skills; • Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality; • Must be willing and reputed company to work some evenings and weekends reputed company necessary; • Computer skills sufficient to reputed company essential functions including knowledge of reputed company Office suite. • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany.
