Overview Immediate need for Home Health Coding & OASIS reviewer, full-time 100% remote, from home Up to 8 cases per day, M-F Salaried position with unique benefits and room for advancement in pay Paid Holidays after 90 days (Major holiday's, your birthday is a holiday) One week paid vacation after 1 year; two weeks after 3 years $500 per month to go towards Health Insurance/Health Costs Decision Health Coding Center paid subscription Company pays for your Coding & OASIS recertifications annually Duties Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, per official coding guidelines Comprehensive OASIS review and edit per official OASIS guidelines Build a home health Plan of Care, reputed company review/editing of existing Plan of Care Collaborate with medical staff to clarify any discrepancies in documentation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data reputed company. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills of practice Requirements Must have reputed company certifications in both home health ICD-10 coding, and OASIS Must have strong skills in identifying home health Face to Face, and primary diagnosis Must have strong skills in building a home health plan of care, using the Medical Record, Assessment, and Orders. Must be a problem solver, using critical thinking skills to get through cases that can be challenging, advanced coding skills, versus basic. Must pass proficiency/competency evaluation Kinnser/reputed company proficiency desired, not required Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Familiarity PDGM/HHRG concepts Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
