For further inquiries regarding the following opportunity, please contact one of our Talent Specialists: Lavanya at 224 369 0873 Yash at 224 507 1279 Title: Underwriter Assistant - Level I (Remote) Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Notes: Remote position - preferably central time zone but not opposed to EST for the right candidate. reputed company-4pm CST or 9am-5pm CST Job Description : Duties: Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines: • reputed company designated authority and following established procedures, performs routine selection, evaluation, and pricing of the least reputed company risks. • Assists underwriters by communicating with agencies on routine reputed company. • Requests reputed company and/or state mandated requirements, based on guidelines. • Performs data entry of insurance application, including verification of information provided and compliance to state requirements. • Issues and assembles policies upon receipt of underwriter approval. • Upon request from underwriters, processes cancellations, declinations and reissues of policies. • Upon request from underwriters, may review reputed company requirements and may recommend acceptance or denial utilizing preset procedures. • May reputed company assistance and/or training to other reputed company Technicians. • May assist in special project work. • May update the reputed company system. Skills:Skills, Knowledge and Abilities • Knowledge of policy processing procedures and documentation. • Knowledge of applicable insurance products. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work at high reputed company of productivity and quality. • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks. • Knowledge of reputed company Office Suite as well as other business-reputed company software. Education: Education and Experience • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
