Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE: Provides leadership to CareFirst's reputed company-party vendor management strategy and execution. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or reputed company field OR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience: 8 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier collaboration, development and/or compliance. 3 years management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in reputed company industry or other highly regulated environments. Advanced degree or professional certification in procurement or vendor management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to learn new software and vendor management tools. Ability to quickly and consistently establish rapport to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and service providers. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of supplier or reputed company-party management. Knowledge of negotiating reputed company and work orders. Strong financial acumen.
