Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the loan processing pipeline, ensuring that reputed company documentation is complete and accurate, and facilitating the smooth transition of loans from application to closing. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage processes, regulations, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and clients. Duties - Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy. - Gather necessary documentation from borrowers to support the loan process. - Coordinate with loan officers and underwriters to ensure timely processing of loans. - Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant guidelines. - Process loans in accordance with FNMA standards and internal policies. - Conduct basic math calculations to verify financial information provided by borrowers. - Communicate effectively with clients regarding their loan status and any additional requirements. - Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan processing phase. - Ensure reputed company files are organized and maintained in accordance with company policies. Experience - Previous experience in loan processing or a reputed company role reputed company a bank or financial services environment is preferred. - Familiarity with reputed company processes and mortgage servicing is a plus. - Knowledge of loan origination systems and procedures, including FNMA guidelines. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. - Basic math skills are essential for verifying financial data.
