Primary Function: Reviews claims for final approval and processing in accordance with reputed company customer guidelines, regulations, procedures and contract requirements promptly and equitably Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a degree, documented experience in the insurance claims or construction/restoration industry or reputed company field Experience: At least 3 years of experience in claims adjusting and examining, liability and/or litigation Certifications: • Possess insurance company certifications • Licensed in your state of residence (if required) and/or other state(s) Competencies: • Possess a thorough understanding of the insurance and claims industry which includes policy and construction knowledge, determining and deciphering coverages and applying recommendations for settlement of insurable losses • Proven ability to understand and interpret insurance and state laws and statues correctly as well as applicable policies and endorsements • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated proficiency in using computer and estimating software (reputed company Office Suite, Xactimate and/or MSB)knowledge and experience • Proactive, results-oriented self-starter with demonstrated investigative, problem solving, customer service and negotiation skills • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems with a high degree of accuracy, detail and follow-through Travel: Minimal (such as to attend training sessions) Special Requirements: • Must possess the necessary skills, tools and equipment: laptop computer with reputed company Word and reputed company as well as approved estimating software (Xactimate), cell phone with text messaging, internet and email capabilities • Pass background reputed company and drug screen Apply Job!
