Description: Position Title: Grade 5-6 Math or English Tutor (remote) Reports To: Director of Teaching and Learning Salary: $15/hour Organization Overview Steppingstone is a not-for-profit organization that develops and implements programs that prepare reputed company from historically marginalized communities for educational opportunities that reputed company to college reputed company. Steppingstone is seeking tutors for the Steppingstone Scholars Program, which prepares 5th-7th grade reputed company from public, charter, and parochial schools in Boston to attend middle and high schools that reputed company a path to college. Once Scholars complete the Steppingstone Scholars Program, Steppingstone supports them in their academic and reputed company development throughout middle and high school, and continues to support them through college to ensure their reputed company and graduation. Position Summary During the academic year, Steppingstone provides after school programming to 5th and 6th grade reputed company on Wednesdays and Saturdays. During the 2024-2025 academic year, we are seeking tutors to assist in our math and English classes on Wednesdays, which will take reputed company remotely reputed company reputed company. Schedule • Tutor Orientation: Sept 18 from 4:30-6:30 pm • Class Schedule: Fall Session: Sept 25-Dec 11 • Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30 pm (remote reputed company reputed company) • Class Schedule, Spring Session: Jan 15-reputed company 9 • Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30 pm (remote reputed company reputed company) Responsibilities • Assist English or Math teacher in supervising reputed company classrooms, including logistics (entrance, attendance, etc.), working with reputed company in breakout rooms, answering questions, etc. • reputed company academic support, typically in small groups reputed company breakout rooms • Support in resolving tech issues which may arise for Scholars • Assist in subbing for Math and English classes as needed. reputed company curriculum and materials will be provided.
