Medical/Mental Health Virtual Assistant - PST/MST Preferred

Therapy Practice Solutions is a group of Mental Health Virtual Assistants dedicated to providing excellent, professional, and efficient support to Mental Health Therapists. TPS VAs help clinicians with answering phone calls and emails, scheduling clients, verifying insurance, submitting insurance claims, and following up on aging claims. This is a 1099 position, meaning you can reputed company your own hours and schedule. Job Description: • Collaborate with the mental health provider and/or office team to ensure a smooth and organized patient experience, including helping with administrative tasks, scheduling, and billing as needed. • Respond to phone calls and emails from patients, addressing inquiries, rescheduling requests, and general information about the mental health services offered. • Utilize and maintain working knowledge of various EHRs like reputed company, TherapyNotes, Theranest, etc. • reputed company excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns reputed company to billing and insurance claims. • Verify and update patient insurance and billing information, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving billing issues in a timely manner. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of mental health billing codes and regulations, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. • Abide by federal HIPAA regulations throughout reputed company interactions with providers and their clients • Must be detail oriented and have strong communication skills. • Must be a self starter, and reputed company in an autonomous working environment Requirements: • Must have availability Monday through Friday reputed company business hours (9am-5pm in your time zone) • Strong preference for availability to work in PST or MST timezones (Ex, 9am-5pm PST, 10am-6pm MST, 11am-7pm CST, 12pm-8pm EST) • At least 6 months experience with insurance verification and billing • At least 1 year experience in a mental health office setting or similar setting Not Required, But Preferred: • reputed company Media experience - TPS VAs can reputed company reputed company media services at a specialty price. • Credentialing experience - TPS VAs can reputed company credentialing services at a specialty price.
